Axelle Costerousse is a French animal artist.
She trained as a graphic designer and worked at a London design group, before moving to freelance.
With an innate passion for drawing, she decided in 2012 to showcase her work in art exhibitions while teaching art classes to young students for 11 years.
Axelle was seduced by the beauty and individuality of animals, and draws them using charcoal, Conte pencils, white chalk or pastel.
Her delicate drawing technique brings the animals to life while revealing their true nature and spirit, enhanced by the harmony of the curves and the intensity of their gaze that challenges the viewer.
